Product Description

Alloy steel for structural use

Alloy structural steel is used to manufacture various  machine parts. By adding different proportions of Mn,  Cr, Ni, Mo, V and other alloys, the hardenability and  tempering properties are improved.  Cr-Mo steel is a typical alloy structural steel produced  by Baosteel. This steel has good hardenability,  resistance to tempering, and high toughness. Mn-B steel is another good hardenability alloy  structural steel. By adding a small amount of boron,  the hardenability of the material can be significantly  improved, in some areas, Mn-B steel may be an  alternative to other alloy steel in order to reduce the  costs. Mn-B steels are used in the fields of premium  SUV drive shaft, balance bar, etc.

Description:HHV is hot rolling hardness, AHV is annealed hardness. HRC is quench hardness (water quench)
