Product Description
What is cold rolling
define
Cold rolling is made of hot rolled steel coil as raw material, after removing the oxide skin by pickling, and the finished product is rolled hard coil. Due to the cold work hardening caused by continuous cold deformation, the strength and hardness of rolled hard coil increase, and the toughness and plastic index decrease, so the stamping performance will deteriorate, and it can only be used for simple deformed parts.
classification
Cold rolling in the industry can also be called cold rolled sheet, cold rolled sheet. These names are derived because of the classification of cold rolled products, cold rolled into cold plate and cold roll two main categories. And the cold plate can be called cold rolled plate, cold rolled plate; Cold roll can be called cold roll, cold plate roll. In addition, cold rolling also includes some relatively few varieties, such as cold rolled box plate, cold rolled hard plate, cold rolled sheet, etc.
performance
The yield strength of the cold plate is usually slightly higher than that of the hot plate, and the surface hardness is also higher. How to see the degree of annealing of the cold plate, but no matter how the strength of the annealed cold plate is higher than that of the hot plate. Because the performance of the hot and cold plate is basically the same, so the influencing factors of the forming performance will depend on the difference of the surface quality, because the surface quality is better, so usually speaking with the material of the steel plate, cold plate than hot plate forming appearance effect is better.
The advantages and disadvantages
Advantages: 1. Forming speed, high yield, and do not damage the coating, can be made into a variety of section forms, to meet the needs of the use of conditions;
2. Cold rolling can make the steel produce great plastic deformation, so as to improve the yield point of the steel.
Disadvantages :1. Although there is no thermal plastic compression in the forming process, there is still residual stress in the section, which will inevitably affect the overall and local buckling characteristics of the steel;
2. The style of cold rolled steel is generally open section, so that the free torsional stiffness of the section is low. Torsion is easy to appear when bending, bending and torsion buckling is easy to appear when compression, and the torsional resistance is poor;
3. The wall thickness of cold rolled steel is small, and there is no thickening at the corner of plate connection, and the ability to bear localized concentrated load is weak.
application
Cold rolled steel has good mechanical properties, which makes it an indispensable material in the manufacture of intelligent machines and precision instruments.
Of course, the application of cold rolled steel is not only these, because cold rolled steel has a smooth surface, high dimensional accuracy, good mechanical properties and other excellent physical characteristics, so it is widely used in various types of manufacturing and high strength applications. Vehicles such as airplanes and cars need wear resistant materials to ensure their durability, and physical properties such as compression and impact resistance to ensure their safety.
Now many household appliances of all kinds of components will also need cold rolled steel to manufacture, in order to ensure a longer service life at the same time, especially to provide a better aesthetic experience, to the home appliance design has brought greater space for improvement.
