Type of aluminum plate for automobile

1.car body, commonly used aluminum alloy materials mainly include 2000 series, 5000 series, 6000 series alloy plate, profile, pipe and high-performance cast aluminum, different stress parts using different types of aluminum alloy materials. The 2000 SERIES ALLOY IS A KIND OF HEAT-TREATABLE ALUMINUM ALLOY, WHICH HAS EXCELLENT FORGING PROPERTY, HIGH STRENGTH, GOOD WELDING PERFORMANCE AND GOOD BAKING STRENGTHENING EFFECT, but its corrosion resistance is worse than other series of aluminum alloys. Currently, 2036 and 2022 alloys have been partially used in automotive body panels. 5000 series alloy is a kind of aluminum alloy which can not be strengthened by heat treatment. It has good corrosion resistance and welding performance. However, it may produce Lueders line and delayed yield during machining deformation in the annealing state, so it is mainly used in the parts with complex shapes such as body inner plate. 6000 SERIES alloys ARE HEAT-treatable aluminum alloys WITH high strength, good plasticity and excellent corrosion resistance. Compared with the steel plate, the yield strength and tensile strength of the 6000 series 2T4 plate are similar, and the hardening coefficient even exceeds the steel plate. At present, 6009, 6010 and 6016 aluminum alloys have been used in the outer and inner panels of automobile bodies because of their good plasticity, and can achieve artificial aging and obtain higher strength in the process of painting and baking after forming. The body of Audi A8 adopts this aluminum alloy. In addition, in order to enhance the buffering capacity and fatigue strength of the automobile, Germany VAW, Japan KOK, China Southwest Aluminum are based on the alloy, research and development of high performance automotive aluminum plate and aluminum profile.
